BLUEBERRIES, CORN, PEACHES & NEW CAR??

We have been busy here in the state of New Jersey! They don't call it the Garden State for nothing!!! We have been able to pick fresh blueberries, corn and peaches this year and they were all very yummy!!! Brinley had a good time picking them all. She didn't like to eat much of them except for the corn on the cob!

Not only have we been busy playing farmer, we got a new car!!! Yes, the Taurus is gone and was replaced with a big black Expedition. We know, we know... have you seen the price of gas lately!! Well, it is gone down some but we needed a bigger car with the new addition on the way and we just couldn't bring ourselves to get a minivan, we aren't minivan people!!

We took a trip down to Ocean City for the day today. We got there and a big storm cloud was rolling in right after we set up on the beach so we gathered everything up to head back up away from the ocean and as soon as we got back to the street, the sun came out. So back down to the beach we went!! Brinley had fun with Daddy collecting shells on the beach and playing in the sand. She wasn't too fond of the waves, she said they were "too loud." Who knows!!

That is about it for now. We are finishing up the nursery in anticipation of the little boys arrival in a few short weeks. Marla goes back to the doctor on Tuesday and then it is time to start the weekly appointments. That means we are in the home stretch. Any bets on if he will arrive on time, early or go late???? We still have no name, but we'll get one before he comes, hopefully!

Hope you all are enjoying the cooler weather if you are up here in the Northeast. It was about 65 degrees today on the ride home from the shore, WOW, is it AUGUST????
