WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE???

Okay so we are way overdue for a post, but things have been busy busy busy!!!! Let's look back and see what has happened in the past few weeks:

Wiggles Concert, Visit to see Dad at work, finishing the nursery, first day of preschool, and oh yea a new baby boy!!

Let's get started with the Wiggles Concert!! Grammie, Mommy, Daddy and Brinley all went to the Wiggles concert on August 15th for Brinley's first concert!! Our seats were in the 11th row on the floor so we got to see everyone up really close. Brinley even got to touch Jeff's hand (guy in purple shirt) and Murray walked right by as well! We all had a really good time, those guys can sure put on a good show.

About a week later we went to visit Mommy and Brinley went to visit Daddy at work. Brinley hadn't been to see Daddy's helicopter in about year so it was time. It was a really nice day so we got some good pictures of Brinley in the helicopter. Luckily they didn't get a call the whole time we were there either.

In between everything else, Calen found time to finish the little boy's nursery. We had to clean it all out of stuff that we had piled in there since we moved in over a year ago. We also had to finish finding Brinley furniture for her room so we could move everything out of there.

Brinley started preschool this week as well! She goes on Tuesday's and Thursday's for half days. Her preschool is at our church and she is having a really good time. It sure is quiet around the house without her. It's fun to read her daily reports to find out what she did that day and how she did. Believe it or not they say she is quiet!! If you know Brinley, she is certainly not quiet.

The biggest news around here is the arrival of Paxton James Fletcher on August 31, 2008 at 12:34 pm. Our little linebacker weighed in at 8 lbs, 1 ounce and was 21 inches long. He arrived just in time for Penn State Football!! It was an easy 6 hours of labor!! We were surprised when he weighed in a that weight, we didn't think he was going to be that big, we thought for sure he would only be 7 1/2 pounds. Everyone around here is adjusting really well to him being around. Brinley has her moments but loves her baby brother. We all heard her say the other day, "I love that baby." She loves to give him kisses and thinks its funny when she tickles his feet.

I think that is all for now and we have you all caught up on what is happening here in the Fletcher's house. We will try and be better at updating this blog, hopefully we won't be up late at night doing it either :) Hope you are all back in the school routine and are getting ready for the fall. Sure doesn't feel like September around here with the temperatures getting into the 90's! August was cooler than this!!
