WELCOME SUMMER!!

One of the great things about living in New Jersey or even on the East Coast, is that you can get down the shore (beach) in about an hour or so! We decided to take a drive on Friday to Ocean City, NJ to celebrate the 1st day of Summer!!! It was a perfect day, sunny, warm and a nice breeze. It wasn't really crowded and we all had a good time, got some sun and enjoyed the wonderful smell of the ocean breeze. Grammie came with us too!

When we first got there of course it was lunch time and we went to everyone's favorite spot for pizza on the boardwalk, MACK & MANCO'S!! It was so yummy, nothing beats it!

We then took a stroll down to Wonderland Pier so Brinley could ride some rides. She had a blast on all of them but did not like the Balloon Ride she took with Mommy, too much spinning in circles. Everyone got on the Merry Go Round including Grammie!!

After pulling Brinley away from the rides, which she was not happy about, Grammie got a funnel cake and Calen got some Kettle Korn. We strolled the boards for a little longer to walk off all that food. Grammie sat and read her book while we walked and checked out the shops. Of course the day was not complete with out a Kohr's Brother custard for Mommy and Brinley. Then the final course was topped off with buying fudge and salt water taffy at Shriver's. After all that food it was time to head home. We were stuffed!!

Needless to say we had a great time by just getting away for a few hours to the beach. Brinley keeps asking to go back so we'll have to plan another trip where we can spend more time and actually get on the beach to play.
