Time to update on what has been going on around here since the last time we blogged. The weather got hotter before it got cooler. We had some record temps, with heat indices hitting over 100 degrees!! We had a garage sale the last weekend in May to get rid of some of our "stuff" that is just taking up too much room. We had a good day and got it all in before the rain came through. We were out bright and early, about 6am to get ready for the sale that started at 8am. We had a few early "shoppers" so good thing we were ready.
We went to Texas the first weekend in June when the temps really went up and it was cooler there!! It's just a different kind of heat. Down there you don't have all the humidity that you have up here in NJ. We had a great time with the rest of the Fletcher family. While there we got to have some of our favorite eats as well. Marla got Pappasito's and Calen got his fish from Hook Line and Sinker! We got to Tyler mid afternoon on Friday and left Sunday morning but before we left Tyler completely we had to go to SONIC! On Saturday we went to the zoo in Tyler so Nick and Brinley could see the animals. Brinley loves animals!! She loved watching Sunshine, the horse and Buddy and Mitch the dogs play. She kept saying she wanted to get down to play with the dogs but as soon as they got close she wanted up. She loved spending time with Grandpa and Omi too!!!
We are going to start planning Brinley's 2nd birthday party soon. Hard to believe our little girl will be turning two in a few weeks. What's even crazier is that our little boy will be here in less than three months now. We still haven't settled on a name. We'll figure out by the time he is born.
